Respiratory Care Week is a week set to honor and recognize respiratory therapists.
Here are 3 things you can do to support respiratory health:
1. Wash hands frequently! Hand washing can reduce the risk of respiratory illnesses, like colds, in the general population by 16–21%.
2. Get vaccinated every year against influenza.
3. Exercise-Whether you are young or old, slender or large, able-bodied or living with a chronic illness or disability, being physically active can help keep your lungs healthy.
