The Poultney Woman’s Club is almost ready to open the annual “Tree of Giving” project. They have a new location again this year. The tree will be located at The Original Vermont Store on Main Street. The tree will be open from November 18th through December 12th. Community members are encouraged to stop by and take a name off the tree to shop for Christmas gifts for a local family in need. Tree hours are Monday- Friday 12:00-4:00pm and Saturday 9:00 am-12:00 pm.The club is asking that returned gifts and donations be brought to the First Light Technology building behind the Poultney Rescue Squad Thrift Store off Church Street this is where club members will collect the items for distribution to families.
