Join June Brink at the Springfield Town Library for a wood-burning class.
Pyrography (wood-burning) is the art of drawing with heat. With this technique, you can draw designs, portraits, landscapes, lettering, and countless other images using a heated pen and a wood surface. Some images will be supplied for this class.June has been woodburning for about 8 yrs. She started when someone gave her a beginner woodburning tool that they no longer wanted. June never used one before but wanted to give it a try. She hand drew a simple design on a piece of scrap wood and tried it out. June immediately loved it! She practiced off and on for the next year, learning different techniques, and she ended up having a large inventory of items so she set up at the Unicorn Fair and sold everything that she had.We are thrilled to have June do another class for our community.Space is limited and sign-up is required. Intended for students in 6th grade & up and adults. Call the Library at (802) 885-3108 if you have any questions. Please note: Anyone under the age of 18 wishing to attend MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian
