On World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, we remember all people killed and seriously injured on the roads, support victims and their families, and act to reduce road traffic injuries and deaths.
Given the rise in injuries and deaths from crashes, it’s more important than ever that we all do our part in making roadways safer, especially for those who walk, bike and use wheelchairs. Communities can work to re-design dangerous roads and consider all road users when making these updates. Be a safe driver by going slow, being alert, unimpaired and distraction-free.
