In 2020 Rescue Inc. was designated a Pediatric Safe Organization by the state of Vermont. The Pediatric Safe Program recognizes Emergency Medical Services organizations that go above and beyond the basic requirements to provide excellent care to the kids of their community.
In an effort to promote pediatric safety in the communities we serve, Rescue Inc. participates in the "Be Seat Smart" initiative sponsored by the Vermont Governor's Highway Safety Program.
The Be Seat Smart program offers free car seats to eligible and approved low-income families in Vermont. Rescue Inc. also offers car seat inspections free of charge by appointment to anyone and everyone who requests one. These inspections are performed by a certified car seat technician.
