VENUE: Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill145 East Main Street Poultney, VT 05764

Sunday, July 10, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

For 200 years this historic stone building has graced our community and has served various civic functions for the people of Poultney and the surrounding areas. Since 2016, it has housed our community’s art center, Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill.

On July 10th, the festivities will include live music by the Poultney Brass Band, BBQ Barbershop Quartet and Calypso Connections, unveiling of Historic Marker, gallery exhibits, art activities for children, local food /refreshments and presentations by the Preservation Trust of Vermont, the Poultney Historical Society, new local business enterprises and other established civic organizations.

As part of the celebration, a unique fundraising event has been planned with monies raised going toward the continued care and preservation of this special building. Because we Love The Arts and the Town of Poultney so much, at 3:00 PM we will gather and set a Vermont State record for the Biggest-Ever Group Hug! Come celebrate 200 years of history in Poultney “The Heart of the Slate Valley” and make history at the same time!

For more information about the event, to sign up and/or donate, please visit www.stonevalleyarts.org

Stone Valley Arts hope to see you and your entire family on July 10th! This event is free to the public.
