Cost of college went down for all students at Green Mountain College

Tuition and fees fell 0.5 percent for 2018-19 at Green Mountain College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Vermont students paid $37,080 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $78 more than the $37,002 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 110 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.2 million and 99 students took out student loans totaling more than $663,874.

Including all undergraduates (701), 459 students used grants or scholarships totaling $11.6 million, and 386 students took out $2.1 million in federal student loans.
