68 percent of applicants to Vermont Technical College were admitted for fall 2018

At Vermont Technical College, 61 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Randolph enrolled 1,638 students in fall 2018, including 1,632 in undergraduate and six in graduate programs, data shows. 19.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

78 percent of undergraduates are residents of Vermont, and 21 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (74 percent) and two or more races (17 percent).

The school admitted 68 percent of the 931 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 36 percent enrolled.
