Woodstock ranked 34th among cities in Vermont by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau in August.

The median income of Woodstock residents was an inflation-adjusted $30,781 per year. Woodstock had 510 households in 2017, with a population of 1,156.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Danville. Danville's median income was $47,788 per year after adjusting for inflation – $17,007 more than Woodstock. It had 147 households in 2017 and a population of 368.
