On Saturday, March 8, former Rutland Senior High School standout Chase de Castro’s current college team, the Mercy Mavericks, won 10-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the West Chester Golden Rams.

The game took place at Mercy Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Rams this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 12 p.m. at Peter X. Finnerty Field against Pace Setter.
