There was one gas station in cities across Addison County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $3.49 per gallon in the week ending Oct. 21, according to GasBuddy.com.

The average cost of regular gas in cities within Addison County was $3.6 per gallon.

There are 16 gas stations in cities within Addison County.

The average price of regular gas in Vermont was $3.64, compared to $3.69 the week before.

The U.S. government missed the mark when forecasting gas prices for 2022. A short-term outlook published early in 2022 claimed gas rates would fall, when in fact gas rates rose significantly.

The outlook once again suggested that prices would fall in 2023.
